Dominik is considered a prodigy at the violin, and as of such has received a large amount of attention throughout his childhood. Because of this, he has a very large ego, and will often refer to himself as "the best". Alcor kept his end of the bargain, but performed so poorly that it was obvious that he hadn't been playing at the best of his ability. His concession speech was equally ridiculous, and when he left, the entire audience was in raucous laughter that completely overshadowed Dominik's prior performance.
