Chrysanthemum Matsu (or Chrys) is a reincarnation of Bill Cipher.

Physical Description

Chrys's father is from Japan, so she's at least half Japanese.

Personality

Chrys is a girl who takes everything very seriously. She's analytical, and is fascinated with math and geometry to the point of near obsession. She’s pretty antisocial, with her main interests being unpopular, morbid, or otherwise somewhat off-putting. Her dream is to someday make complete sense of the universe through mathematics.

Juniper

Juniper is Chrys's sister. She's an aspiring actor, and Chrys holds great admiration for Juniper's skill on stage. Unsociable as Chrys is, Juniper is one of her only friends. While Juniper might not understand Chrys all the time, she still loves her, and vice versa.

Alcor the Dreambender

Chris suspected Alcor of being the one who kept stealing all her stuff. Finally, she made a deal with him to return everything she lost in return for a favor. However, she remains paranoid in regards to the demon, sleeping with several dreamcatchers and continuously urging Juniper to cut ties with him. While she occasionally tries to ramain civil in his presence, the situation more often than not quickly devolves into her him calling a big jerk face. For his part, Dipper has an immediate dislike for the girl (her being the reincarnation of Bill, and all), but, relatively speaking, he isn't to antagonistic to her, having already gotten used to dealing with reincarnations such as Toby and Ian. He simply takes the oppurtunity to make himself a nuisance while keeping a close eye on her for good measure.

History

Chrys grew up in a household with her sister and parents.

When she was about eleven, her sister, Juniper, began summoning Alcor to improve her acting and memorization skills in exchange for treats. Chrys first met Alcor when she summoned the demon to accuse him of stealing her things and demand they be returned.

To this, Alcor responded with an offer. In return for some non-specific favor, he would return everything she lost. Chrys agreed, and everything she'd ever accidentally lost appeared in her bedroom. Ever since then, whenever she loses something, it turns up under her pillow.

One day, when Chrys was twelve, Juniper went missing. She went to her cast party after a performance and didn't come back. After more than three days of waiting for Alcor to return her missing sister, Chrys finally decided enough was enough and decided to find Juniper on her own.

She would go on to seek to the help of Pamela, seeing as she had the sight and might know some magical means of locating her. In the end, however, it would be her and Alcor who rescued Juniper from where she was being held captive and in a trance, acting out the play of Macbeth in an endless loop.
