Max Oliver is a Mizar who first met Alcor when he appeared in his home high on Yggdrasil.

Personality

For the most part, he is generally very calm. He can be quite extroverted at parties, but always drinks responsibly. He has a strong artistic streak, and frequently draws all over his notes at school. He dislikes talking about his family.[1]

Appearance

Max is 5'5", and scrawny. He's occasionally mistaken for a girl, which bothers him a little. His hair is light brown and undercut, and his eyes are a dark grayish blue. His skin is fair, with light traces of acne scars. He likes wearing weird T-shirts, and owns a colorful selection of hoodies, with which he usually wears either jeans or shorts and a pair of sneakers.[1]

History

While attending school, Max lived in an apartment with his roommate Enna. Max met Alcor the Dreambender when the demon appeared in his apartment, high on Yggdrasil. A couple of incidents like this caused Max's roommate to move out and Max to almost lose his job. Max eventually summoned Alcor and demanded an explanation.[2]

This led to a formal apology on the part of Alcor, as well as demands from Max to fix the part of his life he screwed up and to get him a new roommate. Alcor agreed to his terms in the form of a deal, with his only condition being that Alcor got to choose Max's new roommate. Max accepted, only to find his new roommate to be none other than Alcor himself.
