Marcia/Ben/Lane Arc, also known as Marciblane Arc, is an arc focused on Alcor's life approximately 1500 years after the Transcendence. During this time, he amasses a new found family, the most significant members of which are Benjamín Rodríguez-García, Marcia Sinderson, and Lane Douglas.
Main characters
Benjamín Rodríguez-García
Ben is a reincarnation of Bill Cipher. His soul is not properly tethered to his body, and wanders off to the Mindscape every night when he sleeps. He meets Alcor following an incident where another demon attempts to eat his soul. Alcor eventually helps him sleep without losing himself, although there are more than a few bumps along the way. While he and Alcor never become close, Alcor comes to consider him part of his found family in this arc.[1]
Marcia Sinderson
Marcia is a Mizar and a famous rockstar. She was murdered by her parents shortly before turning 21, after which point Alcor became involved in her afterlife. They became close in the short time they had together, but she eventually deteriorated too much and had to rejoin the reincarnation cycle.[2]
Lane Douglas
Lane is the Mizar immediately following Marcia. After what happened to Marcia, Alcor decides to have an active role in the next Mizar's life from the start, and ends up raising Lane as his own child.[3]
Secondary characters
Marie García
Marie is Ben's mother, and a trauma surgeon.[1] Despite Ben's feelings toward Alcor, she later becomes close friends with the demon, acting almost as a grandmotherly figure to him.[4]
Myrtle McCleary
Myrtle is Dipper's roommate for part of the arc. She unknowingly moves into a house that he was already occupying, and the two of them decide to become roommates and, eventually, friends.[5]
