Transcendence AU is a shared universe of the cartoon Gravity Falls created by zillychu. It deviates from the canon of the show in two major ways:
- When Bill Cipher is near death, he attempts to possess Dipper Pines against his will, and dies in his Mindscape. Because of this, Dipper is permanently transformed into a demon.[1]
- Bill's attempt to merge reality and the Mindscape fails, but the "weirdness bubble" surrounding Gravity Falls pops and weirdness becomes commonplace worldwide. This event is known as the Transcendence.
History
