| An AU in which Mabel made Dipper and Henry promise to get married if she died , which she did during the birth of the triplets . Henry and Dipper marry and thus become " friends with tax benefits " as their relationship is not in any way sexual . | The Drift AU is a darker version of the transcendence AU , in which Mabel , just like everyone else , can't see , hear or touch Dipper . Dipper , unable to have contact with Mabel , gives in to his demonic ways and resembles Bill a lot . He is proud to be a demon , does not go easy on child summoners and loves soul , human and blood sacrifices . He gains his power much faster than in the original AU , due to all the sacrifices .

A sub-AU of Transcendence is a work or collection of works that are considered incompatible with the canon of the main AU. Works are collected into sub-AU's based on how they differ from canon.
As a general rule, sub-AU's are not reblogged onto the TAU blog, with the exception of the two "canon" sub-AU's: Friends with Tax Benefits AU and Drift AU. The other sub-AU's are known as spinoffs, and many of them have their own Tumblr blogs.[1]
