| An AU in which Mabel made Dipper and Henry promise to get married if she died , which she did during the birth of the triplets . Henry and Dipper marry and thus become " friends with tax benefits " as their relationship is not in any way sexual . In this AU Dipper is even more protective of the children and Henry and takes care of Henry's reincarnations just like he takes care of Mabel's. Henry become the woodsman much earlier and at one point gives Dipper his soul .

| The Drift AU is a darker version of the transcendence AU, in which Mabel, just like everyone else, can't see, hear or touch Dipper. Dipper, unable to have contact with Mabel, gives in to his demonic ways and resembles Bill a lot. He is proud to be a demon , does not go easy on child summoners and loves soul, human and blood sacrifices. He gains his power much faster than in the original AU, due to all the sacrifices he receives.

| In this story Mabel, Henry and Stan treat Dipper a bit like Mark and Ann do in the original AU, just that their Dipper acctually is dangerous, and that they can't give him to someone who can take better care of him .

| He tricks friends and family in deals and while he may cuddle with the triplets one minute he may be stabing acacia with a fork the next. He has severe moodswing from feeling guilty for bothering Mabel with all his demon problems one minute to only not killing her because she is his. It is still unclear if he becomes more like the original transcendence AU Dipper during his time with Mabel or stays totally insane.

A sub-AU of Transcendence is a work or collection of works that are considered incompatible with the canon of the main AU. Works are collected into sub-AU's based on how they differ from canon.
As a general rule, sub-AU's are not reblogged onto the TAU blog, with the exception of the two "canon" sub-AU's: Friends with Tax Benefits AU and Drift AU. The other sub-AU's are known as spinoffs, and many of them have their own Tumblr blogs.[1]
