A pro-nat is a person who is against the sudden appearance of magical creatures in the wake of the Transcendence. They can be harmless, but some are extremely violent and wish to kill all magical creatures or reverse the effects of the Transcendence.
In The Scouring, Gideon Gleeful works with a pro-nat group to kidnap Dipper and use his magic to attempt to reverse the Transcendence.
