Rosa Darling is a reincarnation of Gideon Gleeful, and is Ian Beale's best friend. She possesses no psychic power whatsoever, but claims to have some vague ability to sense some sort of energy coming off people, which makes her good at reading the general mood of crowds.

History

Rosa knew Ian since Kindergarten. Since then, they've maintained a close relationship.

As a matter of fact, Rosa was the one who first discovered and alerted Ian's parent's of his plans to commit suicide. While he would despise her for it at the time, the feeling wouldn't last.

At some point in her life, she became a musical celebrity. While initially bing part of a three person band including Ian, he would drop out when she began to rise in fame. Naturally, Mira, being Ian's girlfriend, soon became aquatinted with the woman as well.

Rosa played a big part in ucovering the truth behind Ian's past life, between hiring Mira's friend Sun-Mi for the research, and paying for the test Ian took at the preincarnation center that was to determine his previous identity. She also attempted to orchestrate a plot in which Mira would discover something shady about Ian's history (such as an inclination towards demon worship) in order to break the couple apart.

Personality

She's not a terrible person, but isn't afraid of manipulating others to get what she wants. Deceptively sweet in a way that's somewhat reminiscent of Gideon, but visibly firm, under the charming exterior she's a firm and not easily deterred individual.

Appearance

Rosa is twenty five years old during the events of "Reincarnation Blues".

Rosa is five feet, fat, and fabulous, if she does say so herself. Just about everything about her appearance is round and soft, including her features, though she has a rather sharp chin and an equally pointed glare. You will never catch her with her platinum-blonde hair down out of its carefully-gelled fauxhawk, or without perfectly winged eyeliner. She’s lost count of how many piercings there are in her ears, but there’s one in her tongue and one in her nose. They match the safety pins, studs, and spikes that dot her rockabilly-punk styled outfits. She’s about as pale as they come and has startlingly blue eyes, which occasionally, when she’s taking a look at someone’s aura (or when she’s particularly pissed off), seem to almost glow. Her eyes are blue.

Relationships

Mira

Mira is Ian's girlfreind. Rosa secretly has a crush on her. While their relationship starts out pretty friendly, Mira becomes furious after discovering her true intentions.

Ian

Ian is Rosa's childhood friend. They made a blood pact to protect each other in seventh grade. She honestly cares about him, but isn't above trying to break up his relationship with his girlfriend so she can have her for herself. After apologizing for her actions, he forgives her.
