The Car is a sentient SUV held together by magic and spite.

Physical description

The Car is an Oyama Worldwalker. Because of the magical work done on it, it appears in very bad condition. The exterior is covered in dents and rust. The front grill has a large brass statue in the shape of a bird welded to it. There is a runic incantation that says "start shithead" carved into the side.[1]

History

The Car was originally an ordinary SUV owned by David Keeler and Sarah Pines. Neither of them had any experience with automobiles, so every time The Car broke down, they used wards and enchantments to patch the issue. At one point when they thought The Car had died for good, they used necromancy to revive it, which technically turned The Car into a zombie. Eventually, possibly as a result of this, it gained sentience.[2]

Relationships

David Keeler and Sarah Pines

David and Sarah are the people responsible for turning The Car from an ordinary SUV into an undead killing machine. Their constant modifications were not a pleasant experience for The Car. It fears them enough that saying their names is enough to make it flinch, even centuries after their deaths.[3]
