The So You Want To Be a Demonologist Arc follows Dipper's college experience as a demonology major. It also introduces his college friends—Thomas, Maria, Brad, and Eduardo, as well as their rival, Elisabeth.

While attending college, Dipper uses the alias "Tyrone Evergreen." He is the most gifted student in his demonology classes, and also the weirdest.
