Dominik Hohn is a reincarnation of Preston Northwest and a violin prodigy.

Personality

Dominik is considered a prodigy at the violin, and as of such has received a large amount of attention throughout his childhood. Because of this, he has a very large ego, and will often refer to himself as "the best". He appears to be rather conniving, considering the deal he made with Alcor, and the fact that he intended on marrying the Monarch's niece for status and wealth.[1]

History

At age 15, Dominik read in a demonology textbook that Alcor the Dreambender has been noted as a talented violinist. Shortly after this, Alcor played the violin to placate a cult that had summoned him, and the media managed to pick up the story. Dominik, who had been hailed as a masterful violinist, felt threatened by the positive response that the demon received because of this.[1]

He summoned Alcor and made a deal with him. In exchange for Dominik's second best Stradivarius violin, Alcor would make a surprise appearance at Dominik's next concert, challenge him to a musical duel, and then intentionally lose.

Alcor kept his end of the bargain, but performed so poorly that it was obvious that he hadn't been playing at the best of his ability. His concession speech was equally ridiculous, and when he left, the entire audience was in raucous laughter that completely overshadowed Dominik's prior performance.
