Magical Girl Mizar
Magical Girl Mizar is an in-universe anime based on the concept of Mizar being a magical girl.
History
Ian is somehow involve in it's creation, and has Dipper and Mira provide voices for the pilot episode.
However, Alcor would keep getting choked up on his lines, and eventually had to leave. The official role would be filed by a talented, if fairly unknown, voice actor instead.
Dipper would later make a one line Cameo which would later become a meme. The fans went crazy trying to figure out who the background character with the odd, distorted voice was, and if he would become important later.
Technical Details
The demonic effect is achieved by a cheap dollar-store voice changer.
Plot
Mizar is a member of a team of Magical girls who work for Alcor. Their job mainly consists of fighting evil, protecting magical beings from pro-nat groups, and busting cults.
Characters
Magical Girl Mizar
Also known as Stella. Her full title is "Magical Girl Mizar stellar". Her weapon is a bat.
Gliese
Another member of the magical girl team, and a shapeshifter. She's also Alcor's daughter. Her weapon is an axe modeled after that of the Woodsman, who is like an uncle to her. When it comes to actual combat, she mostly relies on her flames.
Cassie
A member of Mizar's team. Her weapon is a sword.
Alcor
The boss of the magical girls, as well as the one who bestowed them with their powers.
Mizar's pet pig
Mizar's magical pig that can transform into a weapon.
Trivia
- Alcor insists he sounds nothing like him, since his voice cracks to much. Mira finds this funny.
- There is an AU of Magical Girl Mizar which is similar to Sabrina the witch, with Alcor being her pet cat.
