Ebony is a reincarnation of Bill Cipher.
Personality
Enoby (their real name is Ebony but doesn’t use it because Enoby sounds cooler) is an emo/goth person, or would be if they could just get that dark, brooding personality right. Though they don’t quite have the stereotypical goth disposition, they’ve always been intrigued by the darker side of the world–death, night, blood, etc–with a verve that’s at least a bit offputting. And don’t even get me started on their humor…
Sometimes around their friends they put on that moody disposition, but when Twin Souls is mentioned, lord help you. They can’t help but get excited about–it just speaks to them, yanno? Alcor is so powerful and hot and who wouldn’t have a crush on him, honestly.
You can find them on Twin Souls forums passionately writing self-insert fics where Mizar mysteriously or not-so-mysteriously disappears, dies violently, or becomes so evil that Alcor cannot bear to love her anymore (and, of course, must turn to the handsome Enoby for comfort and love).
History
Dipper wonders if the universe is trying to troll him.
It’s the only explanation he can think of that has him in front of a teenie waifish fourteen year old r!Bill, a tattered and well loved copy of Twin Souls clutched to their chest. Their smile is slightly too eager, slightly too wide but face free of guile.
Ebony has a massive crush on the Dreambender (as portrayed as Edward Cullen) and omg Alcor’s so powerful and whimsical and his sense of humor is great why does Mizar get scared of Alcor’s jokes rather than laugh they are hysterical. And, and, omg is it really true that Alcor can make his one true love into a demon too so they can live together forever, because demonhood sounds like a mega sweet perk to teenie r!Bill.
Ebony keeps summoning him, and despite Dipper’s efforts to put Ebony’s summons through to his voicemail, he still keeps getting pulled into r!Bill’s circle and how the fuck is the kid doing that? (like calls to like)
Ebony peppers him with another round of Twin Souls questions and Dipper starts to cry internally.
