Mizar is the name for Mabel's soul. Dipper is in possession of it, and follows it as it reincarnates into many different people throughout its lifetime.

Mizar is sometimes referred to with the title "the Gleeful". It is unclear whether this is a title applied to any incarnation of Mizar, or whether it only refers to Mabel. Other titles have been mentioned, such as "the Silent" and "the Ferocious", but which incarnations of the soul they refer to is unknown.
