Jan Faust is a professor of demonology at the University of Wittenberg in the Theocracy of New Hesse. After making a deal with Alcor the Dreambender, he spent some time raising the dead and taking down corrupt politicians. He was eventually gruesomely murdered by the demon, in what is considered an oddity in the field of Alcorian study.
