The Flock
The Flock are a herd of demonic sheep, and the remnants of Bill's drove. Technically, they belong to a class of being know as 'nightmares'.
History
The Flock was inherited by Dipper along with Bill's power. It's most likely he first discovered them around the time he worked out he owned his own plot of the Mindscape.
They serve Alcor henceforth, and maintain the duty of protecting his corner of the Dreamscape from intruders. At first coming of as rather enigmatic, he proves to be a good influence on the sheep.
Later, the flock would even come to take 'dreams'- a helpless class of beings that nightmares normally devour- taking the form of lambs under their protection.
Even after the universe ends, the Flock remains. The influx of new energy released when Dipper restarts everything transforms nightmares, including The Flock, into demons, and the dreams into angels.
Relationship to Dipper
While in general ,demons tend to merly tolarte the nightmares and occasionaly eat them,Dipper cares for his Flock.
Besides defending them against intruders ,he also helps them out of dreamcatchers if needed.If harmed he also uses his energy to heal them .
Outside of the mindscape Dipper uses to summons them either just to visit his family or to give people certain dreams.For family and friends when had trouble sleeping he would call them to give them good dreams or to protect them.Simarly he would send them to enemys to give them nightmares.
Eitherway,he would also spend casual time with them in the mindscape.During such ,he plays them music talks to them and tells them about himself before he was their master or about events they did not see,but also listens when they talk to him.
