False Memories AU[1] is a sub-AU in which the Transcendence plays out differently. Instead of becoming a demon, Dipper Pines dies when Bill Cipher tries to posses him, and Bill's memories are overwritten by Dipper's. Bill then believes he is Dipper, until he encounters the reincarnation of the real Dipper's soul.[2]
