An elf is a supernatural creature often associated with nature. They look similar to humans, but often have much greater lifespans and magical powers.

Culture

Although after the Transcendence, many elves transition into living alongside humans, many elven communities prefer to live separately, even thousands of years post-Transcendence.[1] These elves tend to live in an "in-between" state on the threshhold between the physical realm and the Mindscape.[2] This space resembles an endless, enormous forest, and can be accessed through hidden portals in nature. It is generally off-limits to humans.[3]

Elven communities tend to be fairly secretive when it comes to sharing their culture and practices with outsiders. Even Alcor doesn't know everything about them.[1]

All elves have the Sight and an innate affinity for magic.[1]

Trivia

  • It is possible for an elf to be born without a soul, resulting in a Blighted One. Blighted Ones are the natural predators of elves.[1]
