The Record of the Second Star is a book held by a chapter of the Circle of the Dreamer's Star that keeps track of and theorizes the identity of Mizar's incarnations. It is bound with black leather with an embossed gold star on its cover. The book is assigned a keeper(s) who preserve, protect, and update the book whenever a new Mizar is suspected to exist. Because Mizar's identity is never made public information, they are often assigned aliases in the book (i.e. "Mizar the Ferocious", "Mizar the Just"). This aids the Circle in identifying the stages of the myth cycle.
