Midway Bar
The Midway Bar was the only restaurant in the Mindscape. It was also the only place where demons and other magical creatures gathered peacefully. Its owner, the mysterious Bartender, enforced only a few rules: within its walls, guests were not to intentionally harm, emotionally or physically, anyone or anything, and they were required to pay their tab before leaving. The Midway Bar's rules were enforced by abnormally strong nightmares.
The Bar could serve guests anything—even impossible things—to eat or drink. The prices for meals ranged from physical currency to memories to souls.
Appearance
The Bar was described as looking like a perfectly normal wood and concrete building. The size of the interior had also been reported to fluctuate.
Impact
The Midway Bar was the only place where demons tended to interact in positive ways. More than half of all deals between demons happened there. It was also the social hub of the demon world, and the best way to hear about what was happening in the Mindscape.
All sorts of creatures came to the Bar—demons, nightmares, dreaming souls, and even angels, occasionally.
