Midway Bar
The Midway Bar is the only restaurant in the Mindscape. It's also the only place where demons and other magical creatures gather peacefully. Its owner, the mysterious Bartender, enforces only a few rules: within its walls, guests are not to intentionally harm, emotionally or physically, anyone or anything, and they are required to pay their tab before leaving. The Midway Bar's rules are enforced by abnormally strong nightmares.
The Bar can serve guests anything—even impossible things—to eat or drink. The prices for meals range from physical currency to memories to souls.
Appearance
The Bar is described as looking like a perfectly normal wood and concrete building. The size of the interior has also been reported to fluctuate.
Impact
The Midway Bar is the only place where demons tend to interact in positive ways. More than half of all deals between demons happen there. It's also the social hub of the demon world, and the best way to hear about what's happening in the Mindscape.
All sorts of creatures come to the Bar—demons, nightmares, dreaming souls, and even angels, occasionally.
