Avoidance AU

Avoidance AU (also known as Severance AU) is a sub-AU where Dipper Pines is split into a human half and a demon half. The demon half is violent, extremely dangerous, and desperate to have its humanity back. The human half is a traumatized, insomniac teenager who would rather die than go back to being Alcor.[1]
The split occurs after Dipper encounters the angel Tesla. Instead of striking the angel down, he lets it defeat him, but something goes wrong and he ends up split into two parts instead. The angel is able to seal away the weakened demon part, and leaves the human part to die as he is assumed to not be a threat.[2]
