Phoebe Patzner

From Transcendence AU Wiki

Phoebe Patzner is a Mizar, and the true identity of the superhero Shooting Star. Together with her sidekick The Comet (Dipper Pines), she protects Asherville from crime.[2]

History

Phoebe was nine years old in 4605, putting her date of birth as either 4595 or 4596. She was raised by her aunt Melia "Mellie" Becker as her ward/adopted child.

Sometime before the age of nine, she met Dipper; however, Mellie was only aware of him as Phoebe's imaginary friend for several years. In 4609, around age thirteen or fourteen, Phoebe finally introduced Dipper to Mellie as her school friend Tyrone.[3]

At some point before the year 4610, Phoebe developed powers and started fighting crime as Shooting Star.[3]

Abilities

Phoebe has enhanced strength and agility, as well as photokinesis (the ability to control light).[4]

Relationships

Ria Hall

Phoebe and Ria are friends in school, and Phoebe has a huge crush on Ria. Meanwhile, Ria has a bit of a thing for Shooting Star.

Dipper Pines

Dipper is Phoebe's friend and sidekick. He has to hide the fact that he's a demon from the public (something Phoebe sometimes has to remind him about), but he tries to keep her safe and on-track in school.

Mellie Becker

Mellie adopted Phoebe at some point when Phoebe was young. Although she doesn't know about Phoebe's alter ego, she cares about her a lot.

Trivia

  • There is a Shooting-Star news account on Clucker dedicated to tracking her and Comet's whereabouts. It's called Shooting Star Watch.[2]
