Torako Lam is a friend of Bentley Farkas.

History

Torako's father works in sigils as a theoretical scientist, so she grew up in an environment that fostered an above average level of knowledge on the subject. Prior to getting to know Bentley, they shared the same 'Mathematical Magic' class together.

Torako's relationship with Bentley actually began when she decided to sit by him at lunch, since he looked lonely. She barely knew him at the time, but that didn't seem to matter. She sat by him the following day, as well as the next.

After insisting on being his partner for a class project, she followed him home, where she would meet 'Tyrone Pines' for the first time.

While their relationship up to that point had been fairly one-sided, it was there that Torako and Bentley would form a real bond over their common interest in sigils.

Personality

Torako is a playful, talkative, and somewhat reckless girl. Outgoing and full of spunk, she's the type of person who prefers to focus on how to get from one point to another without worrying about all the little details in between. While she's not much for introspection, she is by no means stupid either, and has a good grasp on her own feelings.

Appearance

When Torako first met Bentley, she had long hair, but she later cut it short. Height wise, she's taller than average, and well exceeds Bentley in stature.

Relationships

Dipper

Torako seems to have made it her goal to make Alcor as uncomfortable as possible, without taking it too far. Constantly testing her limits, she teases Alcor on a regular basis, and he's learned to play along. All the same, she's quite fond of the demon, and vice-versa. The two regularly engage of games of 'Chicken', involving the two pretending to flirt with each other. When they aren't messing with each other, they occasionally team up to give Bentley a hard time. The two were, for a time, engaged in a Twin Souls fanfiction war.

Trivia

• Torako loves Moffios cereal and eats inadvisable quantities of it, much to the chagrin of everyone around her (except for Dipper, who encourages bad behavior).
