Imamu is notable for being the first reincarnation of Dipper Pines to be born after the rebirth of the universe.

History

Imamu, along with his his sister, Furaha, are the children of Mwenye (a tribal leader). The gods held great interest in the birth of the two children.

Kibwe, an old man with a gift for prophecy, originally thought the twins were the same child while in the womb, so close a bond did their souls share.

Upon their birth, he knew they were destined to be great leaders. His sister would be the head of his people, and he would be their soul. Though the head and soul were traditionally to be married, Furaha, it was said, would never be married at all, while Imamu would likely marry outside the tribe, and she would pass on her role to the spouse of his child when the time came.

As a child, Imamu was extremely unsettled by the goat Gompers and believed it to be watching him. As an adult, he at one point attempted to sacrifice the goat to the gods, only for him to show up unscathed and alive the next day.

Appearance

The picture above, drawn by his original creator, depicts him as resembling an individual of African descent. He might posses some spiritual sort of wings, similar to how Henry's soul retained its antlers.

Personality

Because he grew up being told he was special, as a teenager, Imamu is extremely arrogant. However, he goes through some tough lessons in his late teens and comes back down to earth, though he may never learn true humility.

Abilities

Imamu can call on magical powers of light and fire. He also has the ability to call forth a pair of spectral wings at will. The gods, who are all ascended versions of the Flock, favor him immensely.
