Magnus Wright
Magnus Wright is a reincarnation of Mizar. A former firefighter, he joined forces with an angel to bind Alcor the Dreambender after believing him to be responsible for the death of his daughter.[1]
Physical Description
Magnus is a very tall, burly man with dark brown hair and a full beard. During the events of the story, he is dressed in an orange prison jumpsuit with a white undershirt.
Personality
Magnus is a kind and selfless man who cares deeply about his family, but his recklessness and drive for revenge after the death of his daughter drove away his loved ones.
History
Magnus lived happily with his husband David Wright and his daughters Piper and Scarlett. However, when Scarlett was nine months old, she was kidnapped by an angel and killed in a mock demon summoning; the building was then set on fire to ensure that Magnus, a firefighter, would see the summoning and blame Alcor for her death. The angel then provided him with the means to bind Alcor.
However, David felt betrayed by Magnus' reckless summoning of Alcor, and left with Piper. With no one left to moor him to his previous life, he devoted himself to becoming a tool of the angel, destroying many gatherings of the Dreamer's Star and other Alcor cults in an effort to erase Alcor's remaining legacy in the world. He did not have consistent contact with Piper as she was growing up, and kept Alcor with him, bound inside a mirror.
When Piper was an adult, Magnus was arrested in connection to his attacks on the Dreamer's Star, but escaped from prison and came to see Piper. Piper managed to obtain the mirror during his stay, which drew the attention of the angel who possessed Magnus and attacked her.[1]
There is no exact time frame for Magnus's life, but it is estimated he lived around the 4600s.[2]
