Aleksandra Argenta

Aleksandra Argenta, commonly referred to as Allie, is a politician and former senator of Southern Arizona. She is a fervent supporter of preter rights.[1]
Personality
Allie was a highly active and charismatic person who completely committed herself to the causes she believed in. She is also very compassionate, as evidenced by her first encounter with Lucy Ann when she attempted to talk a thirsty and potentially dangerous vampire into going to the hospital.
History
Much of Allie's early life is unknown. At some point, her fourteen year old sister Iveta was turned into a vampire, and their family struggled to support her because of the political climate in the country at the time. Inspired by Lucy Ann and the Lunch Bunch's actions in removing Gunda Chancellor from office, Allie went into politics to forge a better future both for her sister and for preters across the country.
While senator, she fought to eradicate many of the pro-nat laws put into place by Gunda Chancellor's administration. During that time, it was estimated that only 17% of semi-immortal citizens were registered to vote, due in part to legislation that required that all US voters have a US birth certificate. Allie wrote and navigated a bill to get that law struck out.
In her old age, she developed Alzheimer's disease.
